Lutheran Hymn - Song Clip

Jeff Krause (Vocals/Guitar)
Alex Hernandez (Lead Guitar)

I've been a 77's fan since the age of 10 (the year All Fall Down came out), and was hooked immediately.  I've followed their every move since then, with a short 3 year hiatus somewhere around the time of "Tom Tom Blues", when I was instead sowing my wild oats. I've played guitar since the age of 15, and spent the better part of my high school and early college years working feverishly to perfect my Mike Roe guitar stylings.  I still fail miserably (yes, more Miserable than you).  Although blues rock is not my first playing musical style of choice, I still long for Mike's blue Fender Strat American model with the Lace Sensor pickups.  That is one sweet axe. "It will be mine, oh yes, it will be mine.

I figured contributing two songs (one with the mighty Driver8), was the best way I could continue to show my admiration for such a wonderful band, while narrowly escaping the moniker of "stalker".

I sing praises in the morning
I sing praises in the day
I sing praises every evening
I sing praises always

You are there at every dawning
And inside the eventide
Every afternoon and morning
You are there
You are walking by my side

I sing praise when I don’t want to
I sing praise when I can’t feel
I sing praises ‘cuz I ought to
I sing praises ‘cuz You’re real

I will thank You for the blessings
I will bless You for the curse
I’ll rejoice when I hear the bad news
‘Cuz the bad news could always be much worse

I sing praises in the morning
I sing praises in the day
I sing praises every evening
I sing praises always
